Hello
This page is supposed to tell you about me. Here's the first thing to know; I hate writing about myself.
I've been doing two things for more of my life than I haven't been doing them. Photography and campaigning.
I started out with photography as a kid having a go with my mum's Pentax ME Super. I went on to study it at A-level (upgrading to a Canon EOS 5 I bought off a retired photojournalist) whilst also making skateboarding videos with my friends at the weekend. It was around this time I also got involved in human rights and anti-war activism. I studied a mixture of photography and film at university.
Since leaving university I have worked in either journalism and/or campaigning always with a particular specialism in strategy and storytelling through photography and video.
I am skilled in a range of photography styles, particularly reportage/documentary and wildlife though I also work in event, portrait and product photography.
For many years I have trained people in creative facilitation and innovation design. Creative innovation is a particular interest and passion of mine and I love helping to bring out the creativity in others through training workshops.
I am also experienced in rope access climbing, advanced wilderness first aid and powerboat driving.
